ANHYDROUS AMMONIA REFRIGERATION GRADE

NH 3

DESCRIPTION Anhydrous Ammonia (chemical formula - NH 3 ) is a colorless liquid compressed gas.The vapor is lighter than air with an extremely pungent odor. Anhydrous Ammonia has been manufactured and commercially available in the United States for more than 100 years; world-wide consumption ex ceeds 130 million tons annually. FEATURES Refrigeration Grade Anhydrous Ammonia is manufactured to extremely high specifications and quality control standards designed for industries requiring a pure grade of ammonia such as the refrigeration industry and metallurgy industry. APPLICATIONS Anhydrous Ammonia is used as a nitrogen fertilizer source for the agricultural industry represent ing approximately 80% of all U.S. production. Industrial usage represents approximately 20% of the remaining production in businesses such as: • Refrigeration & Cold Storage • NOx Control (DeNox) • pH Neutralization and Control

• Metal Heat Treating • Power Metallurgy • Bright Annealing • Dissociated Hydrogen Source • Feed Stock for Chemical Products • Blueprinting and Microfilm
