AMMONIUMHYDROXIDE (AquaAmmonia) INDUSTRIAL GRADE NH 4 OH DESCRIPTION Ammonium Hydroxide, commonly known as Aqua Ammonia, is represented by the chemical formula NH 4 OH. Aqua Ammonia is a clear liquid with a low vapor pressure and extremely pungent odor. Aqua Ammonia is strongly alkaline.The manufacturing process is performed in a closed system comb ing high purity deionized water with Anhydrous Ammonia to produce a high quality Aqua Ammonia suitable for numerous applications. FEATURES Industrial Grade Aqua Ammonia, also referred to as Technical Grade , is manufactured to much more stringent specifications and quality control standards than its Agricultural Grade counterpart.Technical specifications, required by most industrial applications, can be found on this profile. Hill Brothers Aqua Ammonia meets or exceeds NSF, Reagent Grade, and FCC standards. APPLICATIONS Aqua Ammonia, like its primary constituent Anhydrous Ammonia, is used as a nitrogen fertilizer source for the agricultural industry representing approximately 80% of all U.S. production.
