HILLBEST 25 Concrete Pump Aid for Gun Applied Exterior Plastering DESCRIPTION HILLBEST 25 is a natural mineral, dry powder concrete pumping agent used in gun applied scratch and brown coat plastering. HILLBEST 25 can be used with common or plastic cement. It’s mineral base has a long trouble free history in the plastering industry. BENEFITS OF USING HILLBEST 25 • The product promotes easy dispersibility of sand and cement; thereby, reducing mixing time. • Fast action provides immediate beneficial effect to the plaster. • Reduced jam-ups in the mixer and pack-ups in the gun plaster hose experienced. Safety hazards resulting from burst lines due to jamming are reduced. • Less back pressure on the pump results in less pump wear and maintenance problems. • Workability of the sprayed scratch coats and brown coats are improved due to reduced dropouts, reduced flash drying, easier floating and rodding off of the brown coat and smoother trowelability of the finish. USING HILLBEST 25 The amount needed with each cement depends on the quality of the sand used and on the desired sand/cement ratio. With typical sand/cement ratios, HILLBEST 25 should be added at a rate of two to three pounds per sack of plastic cement, and four to five pounds per sack of common cement. Easy pump start-up can be achieved with a slurry coat (without sand), then sand can be added with extra amounts of HILLBEST 25 to complete the start-up. CHARACTERISTICS & PACKAGING Odor ………………………..
